How can I help?

We are always looking for volunteers to help with our fundraising. If you are interested then do not hesitate to contact us. If you are interested in raising money for our appeal then you can use the link to set up a fundraising page for your event. If you donate online we can claim gift aid which means the charity can benefit even more.

If you prefer to send a donation by post, we can claim gift aid if you complete a gift aid form (please refer to our Making a Donation page) – If you would like to help us in any other way please get in touch here.

Churches, Schools, Social Clubs, Guides, Scouts, Cubs and Brownies are some of the organisations who have helped us in the past. They have held fun days and raised money for a worthy charity at the same time. Here are a few suggestions in which you could raise funds for us but please ensure you are fully covered under any Health and Safety rules which may apply.

Sponsored Run

There are many running events that take place all over the area and indeed the UK. This is a great way to raise money for us to honour someone’s memory and show how much they meant to you. By doing this you will help with the diagnosis and treatment of many life threatening diseases.

Cycling

This has proven to be a very popular event with staff members at the hospital in the past and there are many events over the county and the South of England in which you could take part.

Fashion Shows

Your School, Club or just with a group of friends could put on a Fashion Show linked with a local shop or by designing and showing clothes they have made- ideal for those fashion enthusiasts amongst you. After the event the clothes can be sold and a percentage donated to our charity.

Parachute Jump

For those who have always wanted to have a go at extreme sports, parachute jump, skydiving or hot air ballooning.Great to do with a group of daredevil friends. Make a day of it and at the same time obtain sponsorship for our charity.

Guess the weight, sex or name of the Baby

If you have family members, friends at work or friends expecting an addition to their families – why not organise a competion to guess one of the above. A prize could be awarded to the winner and to the new born baby and from the entry fees a donation could be made to our charity.

Many other events are possible: Fairs, Fetes, Bring and Buy Sales, Coffee Mornings, Prize Donations, Sponsorship etc.

PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT SUPPLY DONORS DETAILS TO ANY THIRD PARTY.
