Heather Brown who has been suffering from pancreatic cancer has been treated by staff at Poole NHS Trust and she contacted our Chairman to say she would like to start a collection along with fellow members of Wareham Conservative Club to assist in the purchase of a piece of equipment needed by one of the cancer departments. After some discussion it was agreed it would go towards an Ultrasound Machine required by the radiology department.
Over a three month period she and her fellow helpers raised the sum of £1,002.64 what a result ! Heather and her friend were invited into the hospital to present the cheque to the Chairman of PHCTT.
